How long does it take to Reach God?

In Bagavath Gita Krishna says 2 contradictory things:
point 1.It might take just 1 janma or 10 janma or 100 or 1000 or even infinity janma for a soul to reach Him.
point 2. In the Same Bgita Krishna also says, u can reach me easily in just 1 janma. What is this contradiction?

It takes infinity janma if the soul doesnt realise why he has come to earth and where he should go in future. If he realised this truth in 1 janma, that is the janma where Krishna himself will come and take the soul to him. Krishna Himself will set the stage for this soul and take him thru' the life and at the end absorb the soul to himself.

If u want to reach Delhi from Madras, it will take a few hrs by flight, a few days by train but if u r walking it might take even few months. This is what Krishna meant when he said point 1.

By point2 he says Delhi will itself come to Madras at this moment itself so u dont have to spend a lot of time traveling. In other words, Krishna will himself come and absorb ur soul to Him if u leave everything to HIM. For each person to realise this God says he cannot tell how many janmas it will take for them.
